I have been using it for years. Numbers in Contacts will not be blocked. Blocked will hear ringing as if the call is not answered. SMS messages can be sent and received. SUGGESTION: It would be good if the app were dual-sim aware, and one sim card could be blocked and the other not, for example. And, for the call log to say what sim number was called (inbound), blocked, or not. PROBLEM: Search in Contacts can only search for one word. If two or more it can’t find. Very weird.

What Does mean by Whoscall – Caller ID & Block App

Good app. A couple of shortcomings would be that unless you select this as your default calling app it can take a while for the caller IS to show, if one is available. However if you do set it as your default app you lose the ability to use your notifications bar to interact with your call such as hanging up or putting it on speaker.
